| Question 1: How to get to the Teddy Bear Hotel? |
Answer: If you are in Chengdu, go to the Xin Nan Men Bus Station and take one of the buses to Emei Bus Station(about 35YMB, 2hours and a half). Then take a taxi 10km further to the Teddy Bear Hotel(about 15YMB ).
Another popular route to Mt. Emei from Chengdu is to first see the Grand Buddha at Leshan and continue to Emei. Take a bus to Leshan at Xin Nan Men Bus Station in Chengdu(about 38YMB, 2 hours). After arriving in Leshan, take a metered taxi(outside the bus station)to the Grand Buddha for about 10YMB. From the Grand Buddha, take another taxi back for the long distance bus station and catch a bus to Emei Bus Station. Then take a taxi 10km further to the Teddy Bear Hotel.
If you take a train to Mt. Emei, take a taxi outside Emei Train Station to the Teddy Bear Hotel(about 15YMB).

We have no reception at Emei Bus/Train Station. Be careful some 'Fake Teddy Bears' who insist that they work for the Teddy Bear Hotel at Emei Bus/Train Station and don't believe those who offer accommodation for our hotel, ignore them. | Question 3: How to save money when I travel in Mt.Emei? |
| Answer: If you can find the Teddy Bear Hotel by yourself, you can save money. We offer a free pickup service from Emei Bus/Train Staion. We have no reception at Emei bus station or train station, be careful some "Fake Teddy Bears" who insist that they work for the Teddy Bear Hotel, don't believe these who can offer you the accommodation at our hotel. Get rid of touts at Emei Shan Bus Station or Train Station, please call Andy directly(13890681961 mobile) to arrange free pickup, so we will respond quickly. | Question 4: How much of the entrance fee of Mt.Emei? |
| Answer: The entrance fee to Emei Shan is 120YMB. If you have a student card or are over 65 years old, you only need to pay 60YMB to enter. If you are over 75 years old, it is free. This price includes having your mug shot scanned onto the ticket which is then laminated-think of it as ready made present for someone back home. The entrance ticket is valid for only two days (although once you’re on the mountain, you can usually stay as long as you like). If you do not want to stay on Emei Shan at night, you can walk down or take a bus to the Teddy Bear Hotel and go back up the next day. Entry to Baoguo Temple and Fuhu Monastery at the foot of the mountain do not require this ticket and have their own admission charge. |

| Question 5: How can I get hiking information of Mt. Emei? |
| Answer: Ask for free hiking map of Mt.Emei once you arrived at the Teddy Bear Hotel or in any hostel in Chengdu. We offer free and extremely useful hiking advice on climbing Mt. Emei. Check with staff about weather conditions on the mountain. |

| Question 6: Can you tell me the routes to hike Mt. Emei? |
| Answer: The routes we recommend are as follows: |
| 1-day travel |
- Go out of the Teddy Bear Hotel and turn left，and you will see the Bao Guo Bus Station on the left;
- Take a bus to Leidong Ping Bus Station (40RMB/person).Buy the entrance ticket (120RMB/person, and with student ID card, 60RMB/person);
- After 1.5 hours'walk, you can get to Jinying Palace, then it takes you 1.5 h to get to the Golden Summit on foot or 10 min by cable car;
- You can go around the Golden Summit for about 1 or 1.5 h;
- Go back to Jinyin Hallin the same way. 1 hour later, you will arrive at Leidongping where you can take a bus to Wannian Bus Station;
- It takes you 20 min to get to Wannian Temple on foot or 10 min by cable car (40 RMB/person);
- It's about 1.5 hours for you to go down through Bailong Cave, and Qingyin Pavilion to Wuxiangang Bus Station where the last bus to Baoguo Bus Station is at 6:30 pm. (If you have enough time, you can go up to Joking Monkey Zone from Wannian Temple).

2-day travel A |
| This is the most difficult way to experience Mount Emei. |
- Go out of the Teddy bear hotel and turn left, and you will see Baoguo Bus station on the left;
- Take a bus to Wannian Bus Station (20RMB/person);
- Buy the entrance ticket (120RMB/person, and with student card, 60RMB/person);
- It takes you 40 minutes to reach Wannian Temple on foot or 10 minutes by cable car (40RMB/peson);
- After 4 or 5 hours'walk, you'll reach the Elephant pool;
- It takes about 1.5h-2h to get to the Jiejin Hall;
- Go on walking till you reach golden summit (the easiest way is to take the cable car at Jieyin Hall);
- Stay at the top for the night. At 6 o'clock next morning you will catch the sunrise;
- Take the monorail to Wanfu Peak (60RMB/person). If the weather is good enough, you can see the Mt.Gongga;
- Go down from the Wanfo Peak to Jieyin hall on foot (the price for the cable way down is 30RMB/person). Then you have 2 choices. One is returning in the same way, the other is covering Yuxian Temple, Xianfeng Temple, Hongchunpin, Joking monkey zone, Yixiantian, Qingying Pavilion, ending at Wuxiangang Bus Station.(last bus is 6:00).

| This is the easiest way to experience Mt.Emei and the entrance ticket will cover you for the 2 days. |
- Go out of the Teddy Bear Hotel and turn left, and you will see Baoguo Temple bus station on the left;
- Take a bus to Wannian Bus Station(40RMB/person);
- Buy the entrance ticket (120RMB/person, and with student card, 60RMB/person);
- After approximately 40 minutes'walk you will arrive at Wannian Temple
Go through Bailong Cave, Qingying Pavilion, Joking Monkey Zone where you can see many naughty monkeys and you’ll reach Hong Chunping;
- Then walk back to Wuxiangang Park where the last bus to Baoguo Temple bus station is at 6:00 pm (if you have enough time, you can walk through Guangfu, Zhongfeng, Shenshui temple, Chunyang palace, Leiyin, and return to Teddy Bear Hotle where you can stay the night);
- Next day, you can take the early bus to Leidong Ping Park, from there walk for 2 hours to Golden Summit or take a cable car;
- You can walk around the Golden Summit, Qianfo Peak, Wanfo Peak;
- Walk down to Jieyin Palace, then to Ledongping where the last bus to Baoguo Bus Station is at 6:00 pm.

- Go out of the Teddy Bear Hotel and turn left, and you will see Baoguo Bus station on the left;
- First visit Baoguo Temple and Fuhu Monastery, then Buy the entrance ticket (120RMB/person, and with student ID card, 60RMB/person);
- Walk through Leiyin temple, Chunyang palace, Shenshui temple, Qingying pavilion to Hongchunping, if you are quick enough, you can stay at Yuxian Temple at night.;
- Next day, go on walking through Jiuling Hillock, and the Elephant Bathing Pool to the Golden Summit;
- Staying at the top, you can enjoy the sunrise next morning;
- It takes you 7h to walk down to Wannian Temple;
- You can walk or take the cable car to the Wannian bus station before 5:30 to catch the last bus back to Baoguo Bus Station.

| Question 9: When is the first bus and the last bus of Mt.Emei? |
Answer: There are three bus stations in Mt.Emei.The first bus to the Leidongping Bus Station is 6:00 am.The first bus to Wuxiangang Bus Station and Wannian Bus Station is 7:00 am.If it is high season, there will be earlier buses. The last bus down leaves the Bus Station at 6:00 pm. |

| Answer: High season is from May to October and the low season is from December to next April. |

| Question 11: What to see in Mt.Emei? |
| Answer: The nicest scenery (and monkeys) are to be found between Xianfeng Monastery (1752m) and Wannian Monastery (1020m) via Hongchunping (1120m) and Qinyin Pavilion (710m). |

| Question 12: How to go up? |
Answer: Take a bus from Baoguo to Qingyin Pavilion (20Y) and from there walk to Wannian Monastery (1020m, 3km, 45-60mn), to Xixiang Pond (2070m, 14km, 3-5hrs), to Jieyin Hall (2540m, 9km, 2-3hrs) and to Golden Summit (3077m, 2 km, 45-60mn).
As the buses to Qingyin are rather infrequent, you may have to take one to Wannian Monastery instead, 18km away (2Y). If you are tired toward the end and feel like queuing a bit, you can take a cable car from Jieyin Hall to the Golden Summit (40Y up).If you want to take it easy, you can take a bus from Baoguo directly to Jieyin Hall (20Y, leave when really packed). |

| Question 13: How to go down? |
| Answer: From the summit, walk down to Jieyin Hall (2km, 30-45mn), to Xixiang Pond (9km, 2-3hrs), to Xianfeng Monastery (1752m, 6km, 1-2hrs) to Hongchuanping (1120m, 5km, 1-2hrs) to Qinyin Pavilion (710m, 6km, 1-2hrs). From Qinyin, walk or take a bus down to Wuxiangang and from there a bus back to Baoguo (late bus at 18:00). If you still haven' a lot of energy, you could also walk the 10km from Qingyin to Fuhu Monastery (2-4 hrs). Baoguo is another km away. |

- First option (6 to 10 hrs) : Bus to Wannian (18km, 2Y). Walk to Xixiang (3-5hrs) to Jieyin (1-3hrs) to Golden Summit (1-2hrs).
- Second option (12 to 15 hrs) : Bus to Wannian. Walk to Qingyin (1 hr), to Hongchunping (6km, 2 hrs), to Xianfeng (2 hrs), to Yuxian (2 hrs), to Jiulingang (1hr) to Xixiang (2 hrs) to Jieyin (1-3 hrs) to Golden Summit (1-2 hrs).
- Third option : Walk to Qingyin (1hr) to Monkeys (1hr), back to Qingyin (1hr) to Zhongfeng (2 hr) to Chunyang (1 hr) to Baoguo (1 hr).
